Makeover coming for Pa. state-owned liquor stores (Centre Daily Times) Pennsylvania's 621 state-run liquor stores are getting a new look and better customer service.
Commissioners approve building new liquor stores (The Salt Lake Tribune) Utah liquor-control commissioners on Wednesday approved new state liquor outlets to be built in Springville and Bountiful. The Springville store will serve southern Utah County and the Bountiful outlet will be built to replace an aging structure on the 500 West thoroughfare.
Target Appeals Alcohol Decision (KEYT 3 Santa Barbara) Retail giant Target, is appealing the Ventura City Commission's decision blocking the company from selling beer and wine at its newly opened store at the Pacific View Mall. The planning commission rejected Target's application over concerns that the mall location, which draws in many teen shoppers is across the street from a middle school.
