Utah liquor-control commissioners on Wednesday approved new state liquor outlets to be built in Springville and Bountiful. The Springville store will serve southern Utah County and the Bountiful outlet will be built to replace an aging structure on the 500 West thoroughfare.

Retail giant Target, is appealing the Ventura City Commission's decision blocking the company from selling beer and wine at its newly opened store at the Pacific View Mall. The planning commission rejected Target's application over concerns that the mall location, which draws in many teen shoppers is across the street from a middle school.

RIM's first GSM-based smartphone with 3G is now said not to be due for the carrier's retail locations until October 2nd, or almost five months after the device was first promised as the American carrier's exclusive in May....

Belfast, San Mateo Apple Stores under works (MacNN)
Apple is nearing the launch of its first retail store in Northern Ireland, according to multiple accounts. The company's Belfast store, as hinted at in March, is said by The Irish News to be "on the verge of opening" in Victoria Square, although the paper claims that Apple is keeping even the store's existence under wraps.
